Classified Ad Hints & Tips:

All Deadlines are 9.00pm every FRIDAY.

After your type your ad in the submission form you will be presented with a preview page.
Please read your ad very carefully on this preview page before continuing.
Your ad will be printed how it reads on this preivew page - so please read it very carefully.

Look at the magazine for the type of ad you are wishing to place, your classified ad will be formatted the same way:
eg. If you are placing a regular classified ad, you will see the first two words are capitals and bold.
eg. If you are placing a Community Notice, you will see the first four words are capitals and bold.

Order of Classified ad listing:
Classified advertisements are not listed in alphabetical order. They are listed in order of when they are submitted.
An ad that is submitted very early in the week of, 9pm Friday to 9pm the following Friday, will be listed close to the top of its section. If you submit your ad late in this weekly time-frame, ie. Friday 8pm, your ad will be listed closer to the bottom of its section.
However, Classified ads in their first week, are listed above classified ads on their second week. If you are lucky enough to have your ad at the very top of its section on its first week of running, it will appear closer to the middle of its section on its second week of running.

Garage Sales:
Mention your Suburb first, where it is being held, what day/date it is, what time it is on. The public need to know all of these details otherwise they will not turn up or may turn up when you do not want them to.

Price your item fairly:
Try not to ask too much for it, otherwise you may not get anybody calling you about it.
Be sure to mention a price you are prepared to pay if advertising under 'Wanted Items'.

Check your spelling before you click the submit button on the form!

Describe your item clearly, and be honest about its condition.

Selling Price:
The selling price is in our forms are whole dollars only!
eg. $150.00, $150-, $150-00, or $150.25 etc, should only be typed as 150 only.

The forms have had restrictions placed on it for genuine reasons. If you get a message asking you to do something when you click the 'preview' button, please read the message, as you have not filled the form out correctly.
