CLASSIFIED ADVERTISING RULES:
Free and Paid Classified adverts are strictly for:
PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL ADVERTISERS ONLY.
Strictly for private advertisers wishing to clear out their home, shed or garage - selling items that are pre-loved, unused, or unwanted.
1.
ThursdayAd reserves the right to reject any classifieds that may be deemed by us to be outside of these parameters.
YOU MUST NOT BE A BUSINESS, AND/OR EXERCISING A PROFIT MAKING VENTURE.
2.
Private items selling for $100 or less cost $5 to advertise for 2 weeks, if submitted online. This applies to an item, or items in one advert, that the TOTAL SELLING PRICE is $100 or less.
3.
Private items selling for $101 and over cost $15 to advertise for 2 weeks, if submitted online. This applies to an item, or items in one advert, that the TOTAL SELLING PRICE is more than $100. This applies to all motor vehicles (with reg & vin).
4.
FREE classified adverts are for items, or items in one advert, submitted online only, that are free to give away or free to a good home. The advert will run for 2 weeks (space permitting).
An additional fee of $5 is charged for ALL adverts submitted to ThursdayAd by mail or phone.
5.
Private Residential Garage Sales are FREE to advertise when submitted online.
6.
Wanted Items ads are FREE to advertise when submitted online.
Strictly for private advertisers wanting a specific item only, not for businesses, private collectors, profit making ventures or any services.
Wanted Items adverts will not be printed if ThursdayAd deems the advert is worded in a manner where it could be interpreted as a collector, hobbyist, profit making organisation, business or trader; wanting more than a particular specific item.
An additional fee of $5 is charged for ALL adverts submitted to ThursdayAd by mail or phone.

Adverts placed into more than one category must be paid for per category.
8.
All adverts MUST have a TOTAL selling price, or be free to give away. If an advert does not have a total selling price or mention that it is 'free', it will not be printed.
9.
The Postcode you type and the Suburb you select in all advert submission forms MUST be where you live/reside.
10.
All PhotoAds are $20 to advertise for 2 weeks regardless of the selling price.
An additional fee of $5 is charged for ALL adverts submitted to ThursdayAd by mail or phone.
11.
Maximum of 5 free adverts per person per week.
12.
You must adhere to the character count limit on the submission form used.
Adverts that exceed the character count limit may be edited with or without your knowledge. This applies to free and purchased adverts. Your ad may also be stopped and requested by yourself to be edited to confirm to the character count limit.
13.
Motor Vehicle adverts, by law, CANNOT be printed without a registration number, or a vin number.
14.
Classified Ads do not include a Trade or Service, Lessons/Classes, Meetings, Community Events, Personal Notices or Income Earning Ventures.
15.
To place any advert into another edition of ThursdayAd, other than your local edition, the advert must be paid for.
16.
Trading From Home category is to accommodate those who have an obvious side-line working from home, a part-time profit making venture or an excess of redundant stock to clear. If ThursdayAd construes that the business is not suitable for this category your advert will not appear.
17.
To place an ad into more than one category, please select the 'classifieds' submission form, this will cost $5 or $15 for 2 weeks and is strictly for private items only, not for a business, service or profit making venture.
18.
You cannot submit the same free ad into another magazine, the advert is free ONLY for the local magazine within or closest to where you live/reside.
19.
Dishonoured cheques received by ThursdayAd incur a fee of $25 in addition to the original amount dishonoured. No further advertising with ThursdayAd will be allowed until this account is cleared.
With or without notice, ThursdayAd reserves the right to remove and not print any classified adverts where it is deemed that the advert should be a purchased advert, or ThursdayAd deems that the advert should not be printed for any reason whatsoever.
