How do I ensure an item selling less than $100 prints for two weeks?
You will need to use our '$15 paid classifieds' form. All ads submitted using this form will cost $15 for each advert.

Who can advertise in ThursdayAd?
Classified advertising is only for private, residential advertisers selling an item.
- Businesses must advertise using our business advertising packages. (see our business options on our website or call the sales number on the top of your magazine)
- Home based business and/or home profit making ventures/exercises must advertise using our Business From Home category.

I want to advertise my item in a Photo Ad, Is this still free if it is valued at $100 or under?
No. All Photo Ads are a fixed fee, regardless of the section and regardless of the selling price.

When will my classified ad appear?
The deadline for private classified line-ads is 9.00pm sharp every FRIDAY.
Your ad will appear in the next available edition of ThursdayAd.

How long does my ad appear for?
All Paid Classified LineAds will run for 2 weeks.
Paid PhotoAds will run for 2 weeks.
Free classified LineAds also run for 2 weeks - space permitting.

I want to advertise in a magazine outside the area that I live - how do I do this?
For $15 per advert, you get to choose the magazine you want to advertise in. Select the $15 paid classified button.

In what order are the classified ads listed?
Classified ads are listed in order of when they are received.
Classified ads on their first week are listed above the classified ads on their second week of running.
An ad that is placed very early in the weekly time frame will be listed closer to the top of the chosen category. The weekly time frame is 9.00pm FRIDAY to 9.00pm the following FRIDAY.
Be sure to place your advert early in the weekly time frame to get your ad closer to the top of the category. ie, 9.30pm Friday evening is considered very early in the weekly time frame and 8.30pm Friday afternoon is considered very late in the weekly time frame.

I run a home business and/or home profit making venture, How do I advertise with Thursday Ad?
Click on the Home button on the top left of your screen, Select the place an ad button, scroll down and select the business from home button to open the form.
Alternatively, you can choose to advertise the same way as our businesses do and have a display or Trades & Services ad. Select the Home button on the top left of your screen, Select the advertise my business button for more information.

Where can I find copies of Thursday Ad near me?

What area does my Local Trading magazine cover?
Your Local Trading magazine covers the area as described on the front cover of your magazine. You can also click the 'coverage' link on the top of each page to get a visual representation.

Why does ThursdayAd keep telling us to make contact with the Advertising Businesses?
We would like to offer you, free, and as cheap as possible, classified ads.
To do this, we have to pay for the production of the magazine somehow so the advertising businesses pay a rate that enables us to offer free and cheap classified rates.

When these advertising businesses realise that they are getting a good response from their advertising in Thursday Ad, they will continue to advertise, and in turn, ThursdayAd will continue to be able to offer free, and very inexpensive classified ad rates.
It is as simple as that.
